Our story
Every craft has a story.
This is ours.
CocoCraftae began in a Sri Lankan village with a single rescued coconut shell, carved into a keepsake instead of being burned. That small act of care grew into everything we are: a home for handcraft of every kind, made the same patient way.

Where it began
A shell that refused to be waste
Our first pieces were carved from coconut shells gathered from village kitchens. Nothing was wasted, everything was loved. Those two ideas never left us, and today they guide every craft we welcome: weaving, pottery, painting, embroidery and more.
The CocoCraftae way
How every piece comes to be

Step one
Born from nature
Every piece starts with natural materials, gathered with respect: cotton and silk, clay and wood, jute and shell. Materials with their own character, chosen by the maker who knows them best.

Step two
Shaped by skilled hands
At the loom, the wheel, the workbench or the canvas, our makers shape each piece by hand. The material answers back, and no two pieces ever come out the same. That is the point.

Step three
Finished the natural way
Natural oils, sun-drying, patient sanding and slow dyes. No harsh chemicals, no shortcuts. The finish comes from time and care, the way it always has.

Step four
Checked, and given its story
Before any piece is listed, we hold it in our own hands: quality-checked, photographed, and paired with the story of the person who made it. If it would not make its maker proud, it does not ship.

Step five
Packed with love, sent to you
Wrapped by hand with a thank-you card and the maker's story inside. Opening the box should feel like receiving a gift from someone who cares. Because it is.
Today
One shell became the home of handcraft
What began with coconut shells now welcomes weavers, painters, potters and makers of every kind. Artisans and young entrepreneurs whose work carries their story to homes around the world. The craft changed. The care never did.
